Mets and Cardinals set for Game 5

New York looks to follow up last game's win at St. Louis with another Tuesday when they send Tom Glavine to the hill for the pivotal Game 5 against the Cards. The best-of-seven series is knotted at two games apiece.

The Cardinals send Jeff Weaver to the mound in Game 5; Weaver dropped his last game versus New York when he allowed two runs and four hits over 5 2/3 innings of work. Weaver is 1-1 in the postseason.

The Mets come into this game as slight 115 road favorites. The Cardinals will try to bite big as a dog. Totals bettors see the line opened at 9.

The Mets start Tom Glavine, who won his last start when he pitched six innings, giving up just six hits, to improve to 2-0 in the postseason.

The Mets hope their 12-run explosion last game was no fluke and that their defense can keep St. Louis in check. That game was an OVER play.

The visitors bring strikeout specialists to the park today who rank #3 in the league, whiffing 7.1 per game. They will be looking to prove that reputation true again today.

last night's PPD bets are being carried forward as all the action ,except for moto's cards bets, was on new york.
as you can see NY is more favored because glavine has proper rest,so no NY peeps should have a problem with me carrying thier wagers forward
