The Purdue Boilermakers and Northwestern Wildcats will both be gunning for a victory when they meet at Ryan Field on Saturday.

Oddsmakers currently have the Boilermakers listed as 8½-point favorites versus the Wildcats, while the game's total has not yet been posted.

Purdue were outscored 27-0 in the first and final quarters of the game to lose at Iowa 47-17 last weekend. The Boilermakers were 11-point underdogs to win on the road, and the 64 points scored were OVER the posted total of 54.5.

Curtis Painter passed for 249 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, while Dorien Bryant had seven receptions for 104 yards for Purdue.

Northwestern could not contain P.J. Hill Jr. on the ground in a 41-9 loss to Wisconsin last week. The Wildcats were 21-point underdogs to win on the road, and the 50 points scored were OVER the posted total of 42.5.

Andrew Brewer led Northwestern with 94 passing yards and an interception, and 80 rushing yards and a score. Eric Peterman caught three balls for 26 yards for the Wildcats.
