Floor Press: 1RMx205
205x1, 225x1 (miss)
With the new revamped program, we are trying to not go to absolute failure. I thought that I had the 225 in me. Oh well, I'll get it next week.

6 in. OHP Lockouts: 3RMx165
165x3

4 Board Press: 115x4x12, 95x3x12
I should have started with the 95lb instead of 115lb. My triceps felt as big as houses after this.

Assisted Pullups: 3x5
Chest supported rows: 35x3x15
Side DB raises: 10'sx4x10
Elbow out extensions: 20'sx1x20
Face Pulls: 40x2x15

Good workout. I was a little miffed about missing the 225, but I put that anger towards pushing myself through the rest of the workout.

I'm still liking our new revamped program.

My wife, puttinbuttin78, and I workout together. Between the two of us, we were done in 1 1/2 hours.

nice job man!

what do you mean by not going to absolute failure on the ME move, like leaving some in the tank?

also are you doing those acessory board presses even when you do boards as the ME move?

thanks

im not cheesecake but i can assist you..........lol

not going to failure is kinda iffy. it may leave something left in the tank, it may not. the point is to keep pushing to you strain hard and hopefully get a pr. the point is not to miss a lift. in otherwords, do not teach your body to fail.

as for the boards..........no

when we do board presses as a ME move, we will do rack lockouts for the tricep movement. if we do rack lockouts as a ME movement then we use boards as the tricep mover. and which ever tricep exercise we use on me day, ie if we do board press for our triceps on ME day, then we use racklockouts for our triceps on DE day, and vice versa.

What's your PR on floor press?
205.

I've gotten it once before, but I really had to work for it.

This time it was pretty easy. I feel like I could have gotten 215 if I had tried it, but I went straight to 225.
