Parlay the winners of the Panthers at the Capitals and the Stars at the Red Wings.

Florida (16-22-6) at Washington (13-23-3) 3:00 pm EST
Dallas (26-12-2) at Detroit (28-10-3) 5:00 pm EST

WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- The Florida Panthers look to bounce back from an awful loss when they visit the Washington Capitals on Sunday.

Since opening their five-game road trip with a 2-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on January 1, the Panthers have dropped three consecutive decisions.

The road trip hit a low point on Saturday, as Florida dropped a 4-0 decision to the New York Rangers.

Roberto Luongo made 21 saves, but the Panthers failed to generate any offense against rookie netminder Henrik Lundqvist.

The Capitals also have struggled recently, getting off to a 1-3 start on their six-game homestand.

Rookie sensation Alexander Ovechkin scored his team-leading 25th goal Friday, but Washington dropped a 3-1 contest to the surging Philadelphia Flyers.

Ovechkin has tallied in seven of his last eight games, but the Capitals have tallied just nine times in their last five contests.

DETROIT (Ticker) -- Marty Turco looks to finally break through against his career nemesis when the Dallas Stars visit the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday.

Turco never has beaten the Red Wings in his five-year NHL career, posting an 0-5-0 record with five ties. The two-time All-Star goaltender stopped 19 shots in the first meeting between the teams this season on December 27, but the Stars dropped a 4-1 decision.

Dallas hopes to carry momentum from a thrilling 4-3 shootout victory over the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim on Friday. Turco surrendered three goals before being replaced after the first period, but the Stars rallied for three unanswered tallies before winning in the shootout.

Brenden Morrow tallied twice and backup goalie Johan Hedberg stopped all 16 shots he faced for Dallas, which improved to 13-8-1 at home this season.

The Stars ironically have fared better on the road with a 13-4-1 mark, but they will be hard-pressed to maintain that level of success against a Red Wings squad which has won five of its last six at home.

Defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom scored a pair of power-play goals Friday as Detroit posted a 3-1 triumph over the Nashville Predators.

Manny Legace stopped 29 shots to win for the second time in as many nights since returning from injured reserve, as the Red Wings continued their stellar play on special teams.

Detroit, which owns a nine-game unbeaten streak against Dallas, enters Sunday's contest with the top power play in the NHL along with the league's third-ranked penalty-killing unit.
