many abused children, abused spouses, people causing car accidents, drunk drivers. mix it with the wrong drug and you are a dead duck. but its legal and sold at every corner gas station and CVS. beer commercials showing half naked women with 'cool guys' hanging out together all over the tv.. no problem!!

ER visits due to energy drinks = 20,000 per year. but they are legal.. as is caffeine and other stims which speed up heart rate. no problem there either.

high fructose corn syrup, MSG, soybean oil, hydrogenated oils, big macs, soda and all that other shit that over time will kill you also legal. heart failure is the #1 killer among females believe it or not. no problem there either and everytime a health promoter proposes something like banning soda's from schools he gets his throat stepped on by the loud minority who thinks we are taking their 'freedoms' away.. i agree, would hate to take away your freedom from getting a heart attack. seat belts too are bad ya know, you should have the freedom to go through your windshield.

how many ER visits cause of AAS??? maybe because some idiot ran high doses of an oral and got liver problems from it, or someone had a bad injection where the needle snapped off. but AAS is illegal.

food for thought. I am not advocating for banning or legalizing anything just stating some facts to think about next time a gf/bf or family member gives you shit for using juice

I makes ya sick to think about what a hypocritical piece of shit gov't we have. Look at the latest gun control scam by the gov't. If someone invented a cure for cancer tomorrow they would be silenced and the info confiscated by the gov't so big pharmacy could continue to shill meds and make money.

AAS does not kill people. Long term abuse can help kill you some. But thats abuse. You can ruin your kidneys, liver heart ect.... IF you are a moron.

When I look around my gym and i see the new skinny no base no experience 22 yr old shit head walking around bragging to the skinny kids about himself getting some "plateau buster" I want to choke a mother fucker. Then if my ear buds arent loud enough I get to listen to how he gets wasted 3 nights a week and gets into bar fights. Oh...and he still doesnt look like he even works out.

^^^ Its reasons like this that I think I am actually glad AAS are not legal. Because every fucking moron who decided to pick up a barbell would be fucking themselves up. You would see abcess' , anxiety attacks, high BP incidents and a host of other stupid shit ...like those ER visits steve mentioned go sky high.

I dont mind them being illegal. But being classified with drugs like cocaine and heroin just shows how stupid, ignorant and in need of a beheading the old paranoid white men that make our laws really are.
This country might be "free" but its run by people who are out for nothing but the dollar and driven by fear mongering media.

As an athlete I'm glad aas is illegal, but like burn says I don't agree with category it's put in. But with that being said if it was to become easier to access and use instead of a few idiots using it would be all of them.

making something illegal or legal won't solve the issue here. alcohol was illegal and so was abortion at one time here. people still did both but it became more dangerous and expensive.. and criminal gangs and fake dr's took advantage..

my bottom line is i think its hilarious how a gf will attack you for using steroids yet go get wasted every other night. and how alcohol is glamourized on tv as being cool and how if you drink you will get anorexic blonde chicks. yet its the most dangerous thing out there. and don't get me started on these energy drinks being peddled on teens.

In Boulder a couple years back, electric bikes were banned from being used on trails and on the streets. Why, you might ask? If you have ever ridden or seen one you know that that dont travel more than 15-20 mph electrically which is significantly less than anyone. in relatively good shape iding a bike. I'd love to give you an answer but there isnt one. There were no accidents involving electric bikes, nobody was hurt because of an electric bike, and nobody had done anything with their electric bike to cause any concern for anyone. However, the powers that be in Boulder, Colorado acted before they thought - they outlawed something based on a whimsical feeling and thought nothing of it. It was repealed a few months later.

A trivial story to be sure, but on a larger scale it represents exactly how our government works. Reacting without thinking. Reacting without proper study and information and acquisition of knowledge.

Glad someone posted this......I get so fed up with it sometimes that I just want to scream

You guys still dont know why those are legal and steroid are not?
IT HAS ABSOFUKINGLUTLY NOTHING TO DO WITH HEALTH PROBLEM OR DEATH, ITS ABOUT MAKING THAT DERE MONEY, MONEY MAKES THE WORLD GOES AROUND, THE GOV MAKES MONEY OF ALCOHOL AND CIGARETTES. THE SAME REASON WHY WEED IS ILLEGAL IF THEY LEGALIZE IT, THEN EVERYONE WOULD GROW THE SHIT IN THEIR BACKYARD AND GOV WOULD LOSE SOME SERIOUS MONEY..

Nothing to it more than money.
