THE REALITY OF MY 2026 COMP PREP
feat @TheAsylum
I started this prep at 100kg, and I’ll be the first to admit I completely blew out during my bulk.
I got too comfortable, pushed things too far, and made this prep a hell of a lot harder than it needed to be.
There were plenty of factors involved, but ultimately, I take full accountability for being a fat fuck
TRAINING
My main training split was simple:
Push / Pull / Legs / Repeat
My designated rest day wasn’t really a rest day. It was focused on prehab, recovery work, and bringing up any muscle groups I felt needed extra attention.
The goal was to maintain as much muscle and strength as possible while stripping away the body fat.
NUTRITION
One thing I did differently was keeping food as high as possible for as long as possible.
I started dieting around 26 weeks out, which gave me plenty of time to bring my condition in without immediately crashing calories.
This allowed me to keep training performance high and make the diet more manageable, although starting as heavy as I did certainly didn’t make things easy.
NOW FOR WHAT EVERYONE REALLY WANTS TO KNOW…
What was I actually using?
Full transparency about the compounds used during this prep:
I’m not sharing this as a recommendation or pretending these compounds are safe. I’m sharing it because I believe in being transparent about what goes into competing at this level.
THE TAKEAWAY
Looking back, the biggest mistake wasn’t my training or the final stages of prep.
It was allowing myself to get too far out of condition during the offseason.
More body fat doesn’t automatically mean more muscle growth, and having to strip off unnecessary fat makes the entire process harder.
Despite the challenges, I managed to bring a physique to the stage that earned me trophy’s and medals.
But there’s a massive difference between getting the job done and getting it done efficiently.
Next offseason, the goal is simple: grow with more control, stay within striking distance of stage condition, and bring an even better package next time.
Thank you @TheAsylum for helping me with my supplementation
