Bodybuilding Offseason Cycle Log

Nitral

New member
Starting my first official log, been a long time lurker on evolutionary. Decided to give this a crack and try to stay consistent.

I’ve been training for around 12 years now. The first few years were very on and off. Just half assing everything really. Training biceps on back to back days… trying to impress the ladies I guess haha

Stats:
Age: 28
Height: 175cm
Weight: 78kg

Doing an offseason lean bulking phase. Creates a makeshift back drop so I can keep the pictures consistent!

There’s no plan weight target, I’m just going to be following the pictures/mirror.

Onto the juicy stuff..

I was on 180mg of testosterone e for 15 weeks. Wanted to do a proper clean out and make sure I’m the “healthiest” I can be before going into my prolonged blast.

I’m not one to have set times to increase dosages. I don’t think that’s really a smart play but ik it works. For me, I increase the dose when I feel my nutrition and training can’t get any better. So usually about every 4-5 weeks.

Cycle:
Test e @450mg
Primo @300mg
Hgh 4iu
empagliflozin @25mg

Food intake:

Training days:
550g Carbs
60g Fat
260g Protein

Non training days:
300g Carbs
80g Fat
300g Protein

I left my water intake too late in the day and didn't spread it out correctly. For me i hate drinking water but i know how important it is. So i have to be better at this.

I check in with my coach every Sunday. We upped the carbs on training days by 50

Brother first up you make sub 80kg look thick as fuck 💪💪

Second i hope everyone pays attention to how you approach things, you coach is a very sensible and logical thinker from looking at your whole structure.

Too many people are building their entire approach around arbitrary doses they've pulled out of thin air, treating them as some set and forget formula for growth. They've got the whole process backwards.

As you said build the longest runway first. Get as healthy and insulin sensitive as possible, and create the longest possible window for productive growth. A healthy body is an efficient body for growth. An unhealthy body is not.

Secondly, and this is the biggest one for me, capitalise on the foundations first. Proper nutrition, structured food intake, progressive training stimulus and adequate recovery. These are the pillars that drive progress. The gear is there to enhance what's already working, not compensate for what's missing.

Capitalise on those foundations until progress genuinely plateaus. Once everything else is where it needs to be and you've exhausted those avenues, reassess whether increasing anabolic load is warranted. Rinse and repeat.

It's fucking crazy how many people just pick a number and go balls to the wall. Bloodwork goes to shit, health markers deteriorate and they're forced to pull everything back anyway. Or worse, they just keep pushing, thinking more gear will somehow produce more growth while their body is already buried under systemic and oxidative stress.

You're essentially trying to supercharge a tired and sick engine and expecting it to perform better.

We'll be following this log closely mate. One of the most sensible approaches I've seen in a very long time. Looking forward to seeing what you achieve with it brother.

Are you on any of the other forums brother?
