retatrutide dosage for 300+ obese guy

I’m a 300+ male who is looking to change his lifestyle. I think I just need a good kick in the butt and some motivation. I’ve read promising things on retatrutide but not sure the best protocol for me. Do you think I should try 2 or 3mgs the first 8 weeks then increase to 4-5mgs? Or do you think I should just go with 3mgs the whole way for 6 months?

At your size, definitely go with 3 mg. But I would not exceed 5 mg. You should get good results.

I would start at 2 mg. Try that for 4 weeks then you can start increasing it little by little.

You should get good results about 3 mg a week if you need to adjust the dose you can, but that should be plenty.

The starting dosage is 1mg per week regardless of your starting weight. Run that for at least 4 weeks then you can jump to 2mg/wk if needed. If your still feeling it at 1mg/wk then stay there. More drug does not mean more fat loss. It means more chance of messing up your gut and feeling like shit.
You want the weight loss to be a slow process so when you are done you don't have a big rebound. The more retatrutide you take the harder it is to come off without huge appetite and chance of binging and gaining a ton of weight.
You also don't want to set a time limit. You need to diet until you reach your desired result. You didn't get to where you are at in 6 months so don't expect to fix it in 6 months.
The best thing you can do here is start a log so we can help you reach your goals. Accountability goes a long way.
