    I also highly recommend the 5x5, or even 3x5 since you are relatively new to lifting. One piece of advice I might give is focus on your fat loss first, make that your goal. The muscle you put on will just be added benefit, and you definitely will if you do one of these programs.

    Cardio on sore calves?

    I have never had problems doing cardio with sore calves, I just make sure to stretch them really well at the end. On the other hand, I have had trouble with hill sprints after hitting SLDL's hard the day before.

    Squats & sciatic nerve

    I have sciatic nerve damage from a herniated disc, the L2 (lumbar, close to the tailbone). The injury occured when I was 15 so about 11 years ago. I actually only get pain now when doing a leg press, squats don't seem to bother me. Not sure that this helps but thought I would share my experience.

    Yeah that gym is cheap but lack of equipment is what kept me from signing up. I think their dumbells only went up to 80 pounds. That and all the equipment painted purple.

    HAHAHAHA I have a nice mental image now! :p But you know, it's still much nicer to see a huge person in the gym even if they are doing something funny than it is seeing them in the chinese buffet stuffing their face. They are trying, which is more than can be said for most people.

    Man this morning there was a woman walking on the treadmill at about 1mph doing lunges. She was a larger hispanic lady. I was like hmm OK that's cool. Then she started walking with both hands on the side rails...side stepping. I was like wtf?

    Is POST CYCLE mild enough to only bring the E2 levels down to a reasonable level? 10 like you say? What are the implications of taking POST CYCLE every day, as I would be on it for indefinitely.
