It won't ruin the gear. 175 degrees F is not sufficient to make the BA boil...it just makes some of it evaporate (you wouldn't want to boil it...that WOULD ruin the gear). it doesn't completely eliminate it.

Well, the IGF on AG Guys is, at least, the Long R3 variety. I know the original IGF-1 that came out lost effectiveness after 24 hours, but I think the Long R3 lasts substantially longer. I can't personally speak to the quality since I haven't tried it, but AG Guys does have a good reputation.

On the other hand...prop is notorious for soreness for many days. If I don't bake it, it causes me pain for about 5-6 days per site. They often turn into hard lumps and mimic the appearance of an abcess.
