In regards to your cholesterol question; I recently wrote a good (long, slightly technical and boring) article on cholesterol in the supplements forum. I'd suggest you give it a read. The short version in; niacin has tons to offer BBs and strength athletes in general. Same with BAIBA, only very different mechanism. Policosanol has minimal evidence that it does much at all, and the effects (if any) are too mild to matter much. Red yeast rice is essentially a low-dose statin drug, but at least it isn't a high dose.
Niacin, BAIBA, oat bran, fish oil and vitamin D will, I'm willing to bet, give you much better results and possibly even save you money vs your current regimen. Plus, the evidence regarding cholesterol and other health benefits is very strong.
