I'm not on the keto diet...I thought about it, but I have to try and up my calories as it is.......
I was just concerned bcuz I feel like a lot of my diet is carbs. On average I've been eating 2 apples and a banana per day. SOmetimes also a salad. ANd veggies.
I think I just need to broaded...
Thanks for all the responses. The reason I asked it because I'm noticing that I'm usually eating about 40-45% carbs every day. They are mostly all coming from veggies & fruits.

I think I was under the impression that I should minus 500 from my BMR......
THe only thing I've had to drink in over a month has been water. Maybe I can start drinking gadorade also. That should add calories....
OKay, my BMR is 1470. So if I minus 500 cals form that its about 1778. This is the amount of calories I should have in a day?

I go to the gym 5 days per week. 2 of the days I do a full body strenght training class, and the other 3 I lift weights. On the 3 days that I do weights, I also do 30min cardio before I lift. The weights that I lift are not very heavy, as I'm not very strong. But I lift as heavy as I can...

I get home from work at 530, and i usually have half a whey protein shake.
1 scoop whey, 1/4 scoop expresso. with ice & water. (i only drink 1/2 the shake, usually give the other half to the bf.) THen I work out from 6pm-730ish.
When I get home i cook dinner.
I am 5'8 F, 141lbs. Give or take 20% BF
I work out 5 days a week.
