Thank you guys for the info. I do get the butcher to make the ground meat for me from the steaks I choose, so there is no fat. Even if it were ok with the diet, I would not eat fatty meat cause I don't like it. So in such case, if the meat is non-fat it is ok and the same?

I really like to cook somethings like burgers with ground beef, so I wonder if it is differentto cooking steaks. Is ground beef the same thing, or not? Thesesteaks are so expensive, that I don't see the point in overpaying forthem when I can get the same beef, but in a bit different form.
