    Need A Squat Suit....

boss squat suit huh? better then inzeR? The Boss suit is great but from what you said in your first post, it won't work for you as it isn't allowed in single ply feds. My .02 for what it is worth, I have used the Hardcore and the Titan Dual Quad. I would go with the latter as I got a lot more...

    Finally benched 500lbs!!!

I prefer a quarter ton, it just sounds heavier. So when people ask what I squat, I tell them 1/4 ton. That is a sick bench though. Congratulations!

    calluses

Here is an excerpt from the USAPL/IPF rules concerning tape. 7. Two layers of medical tape may be worn on the thumbs. Medical tape, or its like may not be worn anywhere else on the body without official permission of the Jury, or Chief Referee. Medical tape may not be used as aids to the lifter...

First time in a DL suit...

None of the feds allow straps. Biggest challange with the suit is keeping your butt down and shoulders back behind the bar. This will give you the most carryover.

relocating to DALLAS, tx need PL gym

Try Tom McCulloughs site. http://www.angelfire.com/pe/txpls/ If you don't see one listed on the powerlifting gyms page, post a message on his board and I'm sure someone will help you out. Tom has been involved in powerlifting in Texas for quite a while.

    deads off floor ?

I found platform deads helped me a lot. Like Joe said before, I don't have a lot of trouble getting the weight started but had trouble at the end of the lift. I lift sumo off the floor but conventional on platforms.

your max bench, dead lift, squat

All meet lifts @ 165 Sq=540 BP=350 DL=465 Not that it matters but I am still pissed at myself about it, at my last meet two weeks ago, I pulled 500 past my knees to within about an inch of lockout. I just couldn't quite get it without hitching. I think that was the first time I ever got a pull...

    cham....metal militia

Even better if you can make it to one of thier seminars, they are well worth the time and money. I found the volume to be too much but was able to take the basic routine and tweak it to where it fits into a three lift program. The things they teach you to do with the shirt and how to touch with...

    Belt while benching?

Same as above, it only keeps my shirt from riding up. Matter of fact, I use a leather tool belt and not an actual PL belt as the latter is too thick and hinders my arch.

how to improve lower stabilization on the bench

I would add some lat work if you aren't already doing it. Wide grip pull downs, chest supported row, etc. Also, as mentioned above, your setup plays a role in how stable you are. If the bench you are using is soft, that can be the problem all in it's own. The fact that you are sinking into it...

    Titan Equipment

I have bought Titan equipment from John Thomas down in Henderson, KY a few times. He was always right on time and a few bucks cheaper than list price. His website is earthquakenutrition.com Also, if you go to Titans mainpage http://www.titansupport.com/ They have a dealer map you can use to find...

Which are you worse at Deadlift, Squat, or Bench?

Where is choice "D", all of the above? That gets my vote. But seriously, for me it is the squat. Mostly due to flexibility issues, I have a hard time hitting depth. Anyone got some good stretching routines to help out the squat?

    Bench, Elbows in or out?

Hey man, I talked to a few of the guys on the team and the general consensus is that it takes a lot of the stress off your shoulders. One of them benches in both types of meets (raw 465 BP and equipped 570 BP) and said that he gets a lot more explosion off his chest with elbows tucked. I saw...

    Bench, Elbows in or out?

That is a hell of a raw bench! Tucking your elbows gets your tri's more involved in the lift and is generally recomended for shirt benchers. There are a couple of guys on my team who bench RAW. I will ask them what the advantages are from their side and post back in a day or two.
