I am well aware that those who want to crank the gear will do so regardless of what I say, but it would be irresponsible of me to advise you to take them when you don't know enough about them. You said that you just started lifting, and at only 19, even if you've been at it hardcore for a couple of years, you will be way better off without them. I waited till I was almost 21 before I started and I wish I had held out a couple of more years still. All I can do is offer you sound advice, but you are your own man, best of luck.
