: : You bodybuilders are something else! You are obsessed with size, but have a complete disregard for your health. You must be entirely motivated by ego. Most of you guys have no flexibility, no speed, no cardiovascular fitness. Just bulk! Now you even want to achieve that by synthetic means! What does this have to do with being an athlete, what about youre body being a finely- tuned instrument, what about the beauty of feeling supremely fit? As a physician, I can tell you that no matter what your friends are doing, this is not a road you want to go down. You may gain muscle mass, but it WILL effect your libido (in a few years, you'll be hung like a hamster), your family will notice wide and erratic mood swings, irrational behavior, and increased agressiveness (I hope you don't have children). Other side effects are gynomastia (you'll grow breasts), decreased sperm production, hypertension, and increased LDL levels (the bad cholesterol). All for a few inches in muscle mass (IF it works for you). As a woman, I can tell you that it is not as aesthetically appealing as you might think. Use the money to buy a good book, go away for the weekend, or something more productive.

: You know, I'll just have to agree with you and leave it at that. Although I do believe a four hundred pound bench is a beautiful thing, if you have to administer artificial testosterone in your ass then you might as well be taking the rest of the man up it too. I bench 360. I'm natural. It took years and years and years to do, but I've done it. I could out arm wrestle any of you fake-fellows out there, and I've never taken anything besides creatine. I'm not going to put anyone down, but if your patience for strength and size is that small, then so is your mental capacity. So preach on, Doc. I'm right here with you.
:for all you ill informed dipshits who rave on about steroid abuse and confuse it with use, well there is a slight difference.Granted to the guy who benches over 300lb,he seems proud of his record and rightly so but there is a lot of confusion about the side effects of steriod"use".I agree that the side effects of steriod abuse can be horific but so can the abuse of tobacco and alcahole.so wise up and see the forest for the trees, steriod users hurt no one bar them selves.p.s. I use natural means for my training only but I havn't got my head that far up my ares that I can not see the bullshit that goes on in regards to this topic
