Clenbuterol is a foreign asthma medication (most commonly known by the brand names
Clenasma and Spiropent). Clen is an analog of albuterol, it is a Beta-2 adrengeric
agonists but there is some Beta-1 and Alpha-1 activity with methyxylenes (the class
of drugs these guys belong to). How Clen works is primarily by stimulating adenyl
cyclase (the enzyme that catalyzes the formation of cyclic-3-5-adenosine monophosphate
(cyclic AMP) from ATP. The cyclic AMP thus formed mediates the cellular response.
As far as its anti-catabolic/thermogenic properties, clen is probably a bit more
effective than the ephed/caffeine/asprin/narengenin stack. But bear in mind, the
dosages needed to see the "effects" are around 60-120mcg per day, this may cause
some unpleasent side effects. I would use this drug for about two days on with two
days off, for no longer than three weeks.
