You are incorrect when you say "our lungs are
muscles." Our lungs are like big ballons (actually
millions of little ones. The neck of the balloon
is controlled by a small muscle fiber to constrict
the opening and thereby the air flow. This is where
AS does its good in the lungs for asthma patients
have a muscle that is too constrictive. AS relaxes
this muscle. The lungs are filled and expelled
by the diaphram which is a muscle though. AS is
first an asthma medication and has this wonderful
side effect of being a muscle builder.
