: : Hey guys, I'm a big and crazy University student with access to chemistry equipment. I went to the biomed library and picked up some books on the synthesis of steroids. However, despite my knowledge of chemistry (as well as that of my friends who are in 4th year biochem), this stuff was like reading ancient Greek. I know there were books out there a while ago (advertised in Robert Kennedy's Mag) that explained step by step, how to make juice. Anybody know where I can get a copy of such valuable info. Of course the information would only be used for my own personal intellectual development.
: You guys most be smoking crack! Use your heads! if your that smart, you would know that most steriods are made from estradiol and estrogen and where are you going to get that! 2nd, testosterone is made from a special strain of bacteria and I don't think you want to mess with that. If You really are a 4th year biochem you'd be able to use the merck index and figure out how to get the good stuff out of the various vet. implants. Anarchy in the USA.
Actually, the bacterial synthesis is only one method of synthesizing testosterone out of many. And many steroids are NOT made from estradiol or estrogen. I was in the university library the other day and found a book called Total Steroid Synthesis...it is rather technical and somewhat old, but did give good information from a lab preparation point of view. I'm only 1st year biochem, and there were parts that I didn't quite understand. But in time perhaps I will
