Ok animal I thank you for your impertinent reply re molecular synthesis. Unfortunately, it seems as though you have read some second hand account of steroid synthesis and thus have a convoluted perception of the process. There are, in fact, several ways to synthesize steroid molecules, each having a different set of steps, and each yielding different amounts of product. I'm not so bone headed as to be ignorant of the fact that testosterone can be produced by altering various positions of the estrogen molecule ( I read all the muscle mags too)--my question was HOW TO DO IT. However, as far as I have read, testosterone can also be synthesized from any number of steroid molecules--cholesterol for example--which are readily available and/or easily synthesized. Oh yea, you may need to ameliorate your reading comprehension skills somewhat, I never mentioned that I was in biochem, my friends are. I'm a 3rd year exercise science student--what else would I want to take. OK enough callousness, just cool down a bit and take some self esteem courses or something; for I know that the only motive for insult is a deep rooted belief in personal inadequacy...Peace.
