: I researched hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) with as many resources as I have to do
: so with.
: People with excessive sweating excrete less 6-hydroxymelatonin in their urine, which shows
: less levels of melatonin in the body. (Will melatonin during the day help?)
: A drug called phenoxybenzamine, which is an alpha-adrenergic blocking agent seems to
: do the job alright, but has many side-effects unwanted from high dosages or long-term
: use (ie. inhibition of ejaculation-- ouch). Is clenbuterol, ephedrine or yohimbine an
: alpha-adrenergic agent? that word sounds familiar for some reason. I took a drug called
: propanonol once which is a beta-adrenergic blocking agent (it didn't help), and it kept me
: from getting good workouts and EVEN getting PUMPS during and after a workout! I got weaker
: and had to stop taking it, would this drug have the same effect?
: And using a drug called methenamine in a 5% topical solution can help mild to moderate
: excessive sweating.
: any comment on these?

Propanolol??? Yeah this will definitely mess you up--cause you to be weak, fat and lethargic. It's actually
a great drug for combating stage fright or some symptoms of anxiety. I have used it for these purposes--like
during interviews so I would speak slowly and calmly, however I would only recommend using once in a while for
this purpose. Yohimbine is an alpha (sub 2) receptor blocker but there is also a sub 1 receptor so which one
are you talking about? I probably wouldn't mess with the adrenergic blockers for this purpose. I have experience
with yohimbine HCl and feel that this probably would be useless for your condition. If I wasn't so freakin busy
with my businesses--esp. this bulk supplement thing I would research this for you to see what I could find. Use
Medscape's version of Medline to do your searching--it's the best. Keep searching Medline on your own and be creative]
with your search words. If you get a lead like the melatonin derivative then type that in and see what you get. Keep me
informed with what you find. If you find something promising, I will MAKE time to research further for you.
Good Luck and Keep up the fight
