We are still testing Muscle Chat and invite you to be a part of this process. We will send you an email
when all the bugs are worked out if you are on our mailing list.
In the past two days, some users have experienced problems logging into
Muscle Chat. We sincerely apologize for this disruption in service. We
are working hard to make Muscle Chat the best free Java chat on the Web.
To use Muscle Chat, you must be running a Java-enabled browser. We have
successfully tested the applet with the following browsers and platforms:
Netscape 3.0 on Windows 95, UNIX, and Macintosh.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.01 on Windows 95 and NT and
Macintosh.
Browsers that do not work with EarthWeb Chat:
� Internet Explorer, prior to 3.01
� Netscape 3.0 Beta 5
You can download the latest versions of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft IE
at the following addresses:
Netscape http://home.netscape.com/
Microsoft http://www.microsoft.com/ie/download/
If you are still receiving an "Authorization Invalid" message, clear your
browser's cache and try again. Here are instructions for clearing your cache:
For Netscape
� On the browser's menu bar, go to Options
� Select Network Preferences
� Select Cache
� Click on Clear Memory Cache Now. Click on OK.
� Click on Clear Disk Cache Now. Click on OK.
� Set Verify Documents to Every Time
� Click on OK
For Microsoft Internet Explorer
� On the browser's menu bar, go to View
� Select Options
� Select Advanced Click on Settings for the Temporary Internet Files.
� Check the Every visit to the page option under Check for newer versions
of stored pages.
� Click on Empty Folder and say Yes to the Delete temporary files message.
� Click on OK
� Click on OK in the Options Dialog.
