The idea of taking DHEA with clomiphene citrate is to ensure there are enough raw blood materials present for the clomid to work. Without the raw materials, and without getting into a huge biochem lecture (as usual), the clomid cannot effectively increase endogenous testosterone levels after testicular axis suppression following high exogenous test intake. This combination works even better after a single 5000 IU shot of HCG as the kickstart. The DHEA should be taken for at least a couple of days before the clomid and at a level of 200-250mg a day for 14 days. The clomid should not be used any longer than 10 days, 100mg a day for 5, and then 50mg a day for 5.
