: sorry for being so stupid brian! but you never answered my question! i have already used accutane. not while on roids though. so brian since you are so educated does tanning in a salon reduce the effects or not!?!
: later--pinpoint
Unic says that one should jump on accutane the second you find a blemish on your skin. Unic says that accutane will NOT cause a greater initial inflammation of acne when starting up. This pile of bullshit leads me to believe that this retard works in the sales department of a large pharmaceutical company who collects commission for accutane sales.
Accutane is for severe cystic acne -- the kind which has gotten so bad that it will almost certainly leave scar tissue. Accutane will, without a doubt, make your acne blow up for a few months as it starts to kick in.
A few minor zits do not call for the use of such a powerful drug. If you've been on the drug before, and you're experiencing a new break-out, then you should talk to your dermatologist. Accutane is supposed to wipe out your acne forever.
IMPORTANT ADVICE: Never, ever go to a tanning booth or go outside to lay out while you are on accutane. Accutane leaves your skin especially sensitive to the rays (indoor or outdoor), because it sucks out a lot of nutrients which were there to protect you, previously.
Try a tanning booth if you're not on accutane, but use them carefully. A tan basically camouflages your acne, drying it a little, but mostly fading the contrast between a red zit and white skin.
Enough for now. Oh, one last piece of advice to anyone who reads this: whatever advice you might read from UNIQUE'S posts, I'd take it very lightly. It sounds like some half-ass rambling without a single fact or piece of evidence to support themselves.
