: Has anyone tried this all natural product?
: It is supposed to help metabolize fat 43% more per workout, as well as slow down the production of lactic acid. This could be very beneficial to all us bodybuilders that want to get leaner, and increase our muscle endurance, provided it works as claimed. Fro anyone that has not heard of it and wants to find out more about it, you can check it out on www.endurox.com
: Thanks,

Endurox is a form of Siberian Ginseng (which is in the Elutherococcus family and not truly a ginseng plant). Some people may get a little increase in athletic performance with these products, but you must use your head and think about what this company is claiming. Do you really believe that this product is going to have drug like effects and burn that much more fat? How could this product reduce the byproduct of muscle contraction (lactic acid)? I have had many clients over the years that have used all forms of ginseng, and nobody ever lost more fat, shaved a minute off their mile time, or doubled their number of reps on the squat. It just won't happen. I have seen improvements in mental concentration, memory, menopause symptoms, and increased feelings of "well-being". There may be some good uses for this overpriced product, but I have to laugh at the claims they make. This form of marketing is very dishonest and I personally would never support or recommend a company that does this. ****Lesson for the day - You must always think about what you hear and see, and rationalize for yourself if it is true or doubtful. Also consider if the person making the statement has anything to gain from you believing them or not. Do this kind of thinking with many things, especially things you buy. A wise and sly man, PT Barnum, once said "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the public". (Will Brink, one of the few excellent bodybuilding authors and magazine writers quotes this every time he responds to e-mail)
How come this company can make these claims, yet I get threatened by the AMA for practicing medicine without a license because I told a chronically sick athlete to take High doses of Vitamin C?
