No, a 27 guage needle is probably too thin....unless you're injecting
water-based stuff maybe...hmm. Anyways, 27 guage is what most diabetics
use, and their needles are TOO SHORT. I'm not certain, but I've never
seen a 27 guage that's at least 1 inch to 1.5 inches long (what you need).
The smallest I've heard of anyone using successfully is a 25 guage, 1 incher,
but only in the shoulder.
I wouldn't consider myself a vet or an expert, just expressing my opinion
and observations.
