: : I recently got my order from Scouvara for some Glucophage, T-3, and Retin-A.
: : The order came in 4 weeks. Even though it wasnt steroids and it was a small
: : order, I got a little worried from some posts. The mailman didnt even knock
: : he just left if outside my apartment door. It was open by customs.
: : My question is how long should I use the Glucophage. I heard of phenformin
: : causing lactic acidosis but not metformin. Can it cause insulin resistance.
: : Any info is appreciated.
:
: I got some metformin from Eurocare (Netherlands) into the UK. I think you
: have to expect that mail order drug packages are likely to be opened.
: As for effects: I took 1500mg a day for twelve weeks and didn't really see
: much benefit. Maybe this is not long enough/high enough. I don't know.
: I too was worried about fucking up my insulin resistance in the long run if
: I stayed with it too long. How realistic is this fear ?
First of all I am a little frustrated with a person who would blindly take a drug without
first researching the topic. I am not talking about a medline search but simple reading the
package insert will give you the information, or read a PDR at the least ( PDR sucks by the way, but
at least it will give some information) No glucophage does not cause insulin resistance, or affect your
response to insulin, it works by inhibiting gluconeogenisis in the liver and by increasing
peripheral up take and metabolism of glucose. This may help in decreasing bodyfat. I have seen some positive results in
others but no response in others.
