: : Actually, there have been a couple new studies down on steroids and they have figured
: : out that receptor downgrade isn't actually true. if it were so, your body would have
: : stopped accepted testosterone, estrogen and other steroids years ago. What they found
: : was that your body gets all it can get and maintains itself with a certain amount of
: : steroids that you continually get anything out of the steroid, you need to increase the
: : dosage. Once your body maintains functions (immune, muscle, etc..) with that amount,
: : it's time to increase the dosage again. They also found that these steroids are not
: : as bad for your liver as they thought it was.
: Does this mean that cycling is illogical and

Well it really doesn't mean that cycling is illogical, because you could be doign it to
get the different effects of diff. steroids. Cycling helps to
lessen the side effects on your hormonal and immune system. It's good to go back to
normal every once in a while and to adject back. But switching steroids for the one
reason: to switch before the other doesn't work anymore, is ILLOGICAL. You might switch
to get different results. If the receptor theory was correct; If you gained 10 lbs of
muscle on DECA using 300mg a week, and continued with that amount, you might not gain more
weight, but you sure as hell won't start loosing it. If you receptors stopped recognizing
the steroid, then it would be the same as getting of (not getting it's effects) and you
would start loosing weight like if you were coming off the cycle. that just doesn't happen
