Yeah, a few months back some folks I know from different disciplines of law enforcement were going to put together a
mail order guide (which they did). The person driving the whole thing is a District Attorney (& bodybuilder). With the help of other
folks (DEA, Customs, etc.) he put together a guide that details mail ordering "performance enhancement drugs". The guide
cronicles EXACTLY what happens...what the DEA REALLY does or doesn't do, what customs does etc. And the info came straight
from the horses mouth so to speak...from the people doing the job! It also details e-mail laws etc...I got a draft copy of it and it had
all kinds of info in it...I mean current alert lists (names of drugs AND pharmacies...surprise suprise) but...it also had
what looked like to be individuals. I don't think that was supposed to be in the guide. But anyways it had laws, fines...do's
and don'ts, what to say if busted, legal rights, loop holes, just
everything you can think of on the subject of importation.
What happened was three things:
1) All the parties involved started bickering about how to distribute the thing and
who got what cut of the profit (if any). Greedy bastards. You'd think they made
enough selling confinscated roids! Just Kidding...
2) After the thing was put together, everyone got paranoid as to whether it was legal to sell
such a thing. Imagine that...DEA Agents scared that THEY might get busted!!! Matter of
fact, the first page of the guide is a huge disclaimer that states that, "the following is
for informational purposes only, with no attent to encourage, nor inform any person or persons
to import illegal substances pursuint to section this, code that, yada yada yada...". However,
the concern remained.
3) But the biggie is that they figured no one would buy such a thing. I think they were going to
distribute it for like ten dollars a pop. I think if the interest was there they
would work out problems one and two who knows. If you're interested I ask.
