Buying HCG from a vet is not totally inconcievable. HCG
is not found soley in humans(produced by the placenta of pregnant
females). It is also found in the urine of pregnant horses and
other such animals. This leads me to belive that it serves the
same purpose in animals as it does in humans(as a gonadrotropic hormone).
