: I just spent over $400 (my share, insurance picked up the rest) to have my DHEA and Testosterone levels
: checked at five week intervals (first two, then 10 weeks for last). My Test. levels were 283, 402, and 580
: , DHEA levels were 418, 422, and 423
: respectively. From my blood tests, it does not seem that DHEA level has anything to do with Test. levels. The
: 2nd Test. level was elavated due to an exam, and the 3rd Test. level was 5 weeks after my last Test. Enathate
: injection and a month on DHEA. I did not feel any difference in my workouts when I used the DHEA. The Test.
: injection, now that is a different story. My doctor had some literature that stated that any DHEA level under
: 600 was deficient (the normal range is 132 to 1300). He recommended the test with DHEA using 150mg/day.
: I just had the test taken again, 10 weeks after the last one to see if any changes occur. From my experience
: I would say save your money on the DHEA.
You discovered an important point! That is that the amount of DHEA that people will be able to afford and take orally is NOT sufficient to raise test levels. The studies done on DHEA used 1600mg a day! Nevertheless, as we have been discussing, if your body has or thinks it has enough DHEA, any more is not going to do ANYBODY any good! So like he said, and unless you can inject it, save your money. Thanks for the report and good work! Anarchy in the USA!
