In order for my "friend" to get it for me he has to sign a hole bunch of papers which he doesn't want to do (understanbably). So my thinking was that you could just make the stuff, without to much difficulty, from products that don't seem to conspicous, (DNP is a compound they do get very suspicious of). For the record the procedure that Duchaine wrote about doesn't seem write to me either, Lye is just a base, but I don't rembering it being that easy to dislodge an H from benzen and replacing it with the OH group. I'll consult my texts and reply on this. However, I would prefer to just order the crap. God knows it would be safer and save me a lot of hassles.
