OK, I've been doing a lot of research using the search engines, etc.
and I feel that I'm ready to undertake my first cycle. However, one
variable doesn't seem to be addressed very much, and that is the
effect of age and size on recommended dose levels.
Here's my description -- I would be very appreciative of any
advice from the gurus on the board.
I'm 31, 5'6", and 150 lbs. I have "thin bones" -- i.e. classic
welter-weight type skeletal structure. I've been working out
for years, and used DHEA, creatine, androstenedione, etc. all to
some good effects. The past year my training has been very
consistent and I've gotten a lot stronger, but my weight has
stayed fairly constant. I consider myself a "hardgainer"
because I overtrain easily if I'm not careful -- I workout
with high intensity about 3 X per week (split). I'm maybe
10-12% bodyfat and have also had a hard time dropping this...
lots of exercise and dieting usually just make me feel more
and more run-down, with muscle and strength loss. My protein
intake is adequate for my weight (~ 200 grams/day with MetRx,
etc. to help out).
I've been doing my homework, and I'm considering a first cycle
of either Primo, Deca, or a stack combining the two.
However, I'm both older and smaller than the usual beginning
user of steroids, and I'm not sure how these factors affect
the usual recomendations. I've seen recommendations for
as much as 200 mg/week each of Primo and Deca in a stack, or
of 300 mg/week of Primo alone.
How might my age and size affect standard recommendations?
Thanks for any advice!
