If you watch TMZ or any of those other paparazzi-fueled, celebrity-stalking shows, you're used to seeing Paris Hilton getting drunk at the nightclubs and throwing up all over the sidewalk. However, I couldn't believe my eyes when I recently saw that the 30-year-old Hilton has become a serious bodybuilder.
And this isn't just some thing where she's prancing around the gym using a few nautilus machines in an effort to tone up; she is actually doing bench presses, squats, and other free weight exercises. Hilton is trying to put on some muscle too since she's reportedly eating 3,500 calories a day.
A friend told one of these gossipy magazines that Hilton's primary motivation for working out is her new boyfriend Cy Waits. Waits is somewhat buff, and he's been a managing partner at several big-time Las Vegas nightclubs.
Here's a look at all of the unidentified friend's comments:
"Paris has always preferred to stick to dieting all the time to maintain her figure. But since she's been dating Cy, she's got the bug. It's a massive turnaround, and now she's working out so much that she's often been seen on the treadmill drinking a milkshake."
"She wants to change her image and get properly healthy. At first she was unsure and it took some getting used to, but now Paris loves her new body. And Cy loves it too....he's always talking about how hot and gorgeous she is."
