While the subject of bodybuilding can get pretty complicated and scientific, the overall goal is very simple: pack on muscle without getting fat. Unfortunately, this concept is easier said than done because our bodies are genetically hardwired for survival over developing an aesthetically pleasing look. In other words, evolution has taught your body to value a beer belly and double chin over a 6-pack and 21-inch arms.
The bad thing is that our bodies’ goal has remained the same for centuries despite what we now consider attractive having drastically changed. A bounty of fat rolls might’ve made a fifteenth century island chief look hot to ladies back then; however, it makes one look like a potato chip-eating, World of Warcraft-playing geek today. So how can we meet today’s ideal image by gaining muscle and staying lean when our ancient genetics want us to do the complete opposite?
The answer lies in knowing how to manipulate your insulin levels. Insulin is one of our most important hormones because it has a hand in everything from the anabolic process of building muscle to the thermogenic process of burning fat. When insulin is released into the bloodstream, it shuttles carbohydrates, proteins and fats into specific cells. If carbohydrates and proteins are shuttled into the muscles, you get the anabolic effect of bigger and stronger muscles. But if these nutrients are moved to fat instead, your belly unfortunately grows a little bit larger.
So the key to avoiding the latter involves making sure that your muscles are insulin sensitive, rather than insulin resistant. We’ll thoroughly cover this concept later; but simply put, the more insulin sensitive your body is, the more muscle you’ll gain without getting fat.
Once again though, your stubborn body likes the level of insulin sensitivity that it’s currently at and needs a major push to change. A great way to provide this extra push and make your body become more insulin sensitive is to use Need2Slin. Through seven powerful ingredients, this designer supplement commands insulin to drive nutrients into the muscles and leads to the following benefits:
- Increases lean body mass
- Lowers body fat
- Speeds up metabolism
- Boosts thyroid output
- Increases testosterone
- Improves insulin sensitivity in muscle
- Increases natural energy
- Enhances muscular blood flow
Because of its amazing effects, Need2Slin is a must-have product for packing on mass while keeping a lean, chiseled look. But I certainly don’t expect you to just take my word for it. So let’s further discus insulin as well as how each ingredient of Need2Slin works to build precious muscle while melting off disgusting fat.

Insulin A Double-Edged Sword
Insulin is an anabolic hormone that’s mainly responsible for pushing proteins (in amino acid form) and carbohydrates into you muscle cells, thus causing muscular growth. The best way to raise insulin levels and make this happen is by eating food, which puts your body in an anabolic state. We usually need to over-eat to create this muscle-building state; however, this also leads us to get fatter as well. Even worse is that over-eating can eventually lead to cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes.
The reason why is because insulin isn’t just an anabolic hormone, but a storage hormone too. So insulin will often store extra protein and carbohydrates in fat cells, rather than directing them to the muscles. Sadly, if you try to counteract this effect by under-eating, it leads to lower insulin levels and makes gaining muscle very difficult.
So herein lies the dilemma that bodybuilders are faced with: raise insulin levels and subsequently body fat by over-eating, or lower insulin levels and your ability to build muscle by under-eating.
Insulin Sensitivity vs. Resistance
Since high and low insulin levels both have pros and cons, a much better topic to focus on is insulin sensitivity and resistance. If you’re insulin resistant, your cells (including muscle cells) don’t respond well to the muscle-building effects of this hormone. The result is that your body produces a massive amount of insulin, which leads to fat gain and possibly diabetes.
So it’s much more desirable to be insulin sensitive because your cells display a high response level to low amounts of the hormone. What’s amazing about this is that your body can still build muscle due to the high level of response, while also cutting fat because of the low amount of insulin. Yes that’s right you can simultaneously gain muscle and lose fat with high insulin sensitivity, which is something that much of the general population doesn’t think is possible.
You may know somebody who can eat anything in sight, yet still maintain a muscular, chiseled look. Well odds are that this lucky individual is insulin sensitive. Through habits and/or genetics, some people are already gifted with high insulin sensitivity; on the other hand, the majority of us only look ripped when we’re a couple of weeks out from a bodybuilding contest.
How can I improve Insulin Sensitivity?
Just because you store up fat during a bulking phase like Honey Boo Boo’s mom doesn’t mean you can’t improve insulin sensitivity. The two most effective ways to make your body insulin sensitive are diet and exercise. Going further, proper weight training and avoiding sugar and saturated fat will do more for your insulin sensitivity than anything else.
However, there are plenty of fit, clean-eating guys who struggle to build muscle and cut fat at the same time. So some of these people will take things to the extreme and actually inject insulin into their body to raise sensitivity. But injecting this hormone is not only dangerous, but also overkill too. Instead, you can improve insulin sensitivity by simply taking Need2Slin, which is an easy-to-use supplement that doesn’t require injections.
What exactly does Need2Slin do?
By supplementing your diet with Need2Slin, you take advantage of every calorie you eat. That’s because this product commands insulin to send nutrients to the muscles, rather than to fat cells. Furthermore, your insulin sensitivity levels will improve because of the seven powerful ingredients found in Need2Slin. Through higher insulin sensitivity, your body will explode with muscular growth while simultaneously staying lean and chiseled. As for the seven ingredients, you can take a look at what each one does below:
Acetyl-L-Carnitine is an acetylated version of the amino acid, L-Carnitine. And L-Carnitine helps transport fatty acids into the mitochondria during the breakdown of fats and the production of energy. Following strenuous exercise, L-Carnitine is converted to its acetylated form (Acetyl-L-Carnitine), which improves insulin sensitivity, mobilizes fat stores and increases energy (1). Acetyl-L-Carnitine can also act as a potent antioxidant.(2)
Gymnema sylvestre, which is an herb found in central India, delays glucose absorption in the blood and lowers blood sugar levels, while also increasing insulin sensitivity. Acids found in Gymnemic sylvestre curb the binding of carbohydrates to receptors in the intestine, which prevents one mechanism of obesity.(3)
NaR-ALA is a sodium-bonded version of R-Alpha lipoic acid. As an antioxidant, Alpha lipoic acid speeds the removal of carbohydrates (sugar) from the blood, and breaks down sugar and triglycerides for Adenosine TriPhosphate production (4). It also stimulates insulin signaling, which supports glucose uptake by muscles in addition to triglyceride metabolism by muscles. (5).This process acts to shift the body’s goal of storing carbohydrates as body fat into using it for muscle-building instead.
L-Norvaline is capable of improving Nitric Oxide production (6), which subsequently improves blood flow to muscles and leads to more intense training.
Coleus forskholii can stimulate the production and release of thyroid hormones. Increasing these hormones elevates the metabolic rate and increases protein synthesis a.k.a. build muscle while burning fat. Coleus forskholii can increase the body’s production of testosterone, which also aids in muscle gain and fat loss.(7)
Synephrine HCL is capable of exerting thermogenic effects through the alpha receptors found in fat cells, while also showing carryover stimulation of the beta receptors. This leads to more fatty acids being liberated from fat stores and used for energy.(8,9)
Banaba leaf has a glucose-dispersing effect (10) similar to insulin along with anti-obesity potential too.

How should I use Need2Slin?
Your usage of Need2Slin will vary depending upon your goals. To burn more fat, you should take two capsules 30 minutes before any meal that contains 40 grams of carbohydrates or more. To increase muscle gains, take three capsules before each meal containing 60-100g of carbohydrates. Some athletes also like to take just one capsule in the morning, noon and at night; this maintains a steady level throughout the day. Each bottle of Need2Slin contains 120 capsules, or 60 total servings.
There are plenty of satisfied bodybuilders who have purchased and used Need2Slin. In fact, you can see testimonials from some of these athletes below:
im on the back end of my first bottle of it, started it two weeks prior to my hella/katana cycle im on now, I have to say this is the best product i have ever used hands down. I have used anabolic pump before and i had good results on it though i was doubling the dose, but N2slin blows it out, i feel fuller, constantly pumped, vascularity def improved, and before i even started my cycle i was feeling strong i mean you really feel you are gettin the most out of your food and your body is actually utilizing the nutrients like you want it to. Best product hands down, safe effective, and once you get over the price completely worth it, but as need to says you get what you pay for.Posted on EliteFitness.com by mstiles87 |
I love NEED2SLIN myself a lot now. im not right now only because im using igf-1lr3 but in a few more weeks im getting back on need2slin. (not sure how they would go together so just took a break) I was actually surprised, even though i do love a few of the NTBM products i didn’t expect this much from need2slin. i was only taking 3 caps a day for 6 weeks on top of it, not even full dose. in spring though im going to try it out a lil higher dosed while cutting + with some test ;-)great stuff for surePosted on IronMagazineForums by blergs |
i run need2slin all year... its one of the best products out there... |
Agreed. Need2Slin is an amazing product. Got 2 more bottles on the way |
I\'m around 4 weeks in, usually i look at carbs and gain fat, but so far all the gains are in my muscles, feelin full and pumped all day long!!!Posted on EliteFitness.com by M-Rods |
The demand has increased quite a bit for **** products and Need2Slin uses only certain quality ingredients. They won\'t skimp on the ingredient quality just to get the product out. Nate just doesn\'t roll that way. Rest assured they are working to increase production capacity. If I hear anything back I will let you know XT. Hell I will probably be ordering one with you...Posted on AnabolicMinds by MrKleen73 |
Thisstuff honestly surprised me with how well it worked, I\'ve used nutrient partitioners before but this stuff works a lot better and i can actually feel/see something as a result. I\'m about 5 days into n2slin and i have definitely noticed i am able to get a lot more reps without a problem. Plus my pumps have been astronomical to say the least. Literally rock hard muscle pumps i have never experienced before, i swear it looked like my arms grew 2 inches after doing arms today. I literally was surprised as were others in the gym giving me the 1,000 yard stare.Posted on EliteFitness.com by beastintheeast |
Back to the need2slin. I have been out for over a week. I am going to need to order more. I am living proof that this product does all it claims. I have been taking in more unhealthy drinks and foods over the last month and felt fine doing it. This last week without need2slin if I have more than 2-3 sodas a day I feel lethargic and sleepy almost all day. Do to a form of hypoglycemia I would assume. I hate this feeling.Posted on NeedToBuildMuscle by Caspersd360 |
This stuff works. I cut my carbs from 220g a day to 130g a day to cut for this past summer, and noticed no real differences in my energy at the gym. No joke, and anyone who has had to cut significant carbs from their diet before knows how much it can make you lethargic and kill your pump in the gym. Need2slin is legit with its claims though. It was truly making better use of the carbs I was eating because not only was I able to cut down and loose close to 20 lbs in a 3 and a half month diet, but I did not loose any strength, and in fact, its on its way back up. Normally when cutting, I do not have as much energy and I will slowly lose some strength as every couple of weeks I would have to drop a little weight on exercises simply because I couldn\'t finish the workout otherwise. This was not the case with need2slin.Posted on EliteFitness.com by je1789 |
I literally just did a review on need2slin last night! just finished my first bottle yesterday! it is for sure legit as they come and will become a staple in my supps as well! question: after you ate, did you ever feel like you could feel the nutrients from your food being pushed into the muscles? or am i the only one with a psych problem!?Posted on EliteFitness.com by flagnorfail |
