One of the coolest features of the ProteinFactory.com web site is the design your own protein feature. Of course, you can always select from one of their existing blends, or you can play scientist and design your own. Here\'s a formula I recently blended for strength. (You can read how to make your own formula in the box on the right.) ProteinFactory.com has created a guideline for bodybuilders to use whose main concerns are strength and energy in the gym. It is common sense that the stronger you are the bigger your muscles will become. That is a fact. The types of proteins to use: 1) CFM whey isolate. Use the CFM whey isolate because it is the protein with the highest amount of growth factors, specifically IGF-1. 2) Soy XT. Use a very small amount of soy xt at about 10%. The reason you are using only 10% is that the isoflavones in the XT will block estrogen receptor sites. 3) Whole Organic Egg. If there is only one food to eat to give you the best chance for anabolic condition it is the whole organic egg. The Proteinfactory.com carries it in powdered form. 4) Super Bovine Serum. This beef protein is very high in growth factors and IGG. Not only that but it is 90% protein. 5) Hydrolyzed 360. The most potent form of peptides available today. With a super low molecular weight of 360 daltons, it gives the body its best chance to absorption of peptides. 6) High Glycemic Carbs. Always, always, add dextrose or maltodextrin to your protein shake for MAXIMUM absorption. 7) Creatine P-12. Add 2% of this new high tech creatine to the formula. Here are some example formulas that I recommend. Formula One 1) 15% Super Bovine The formula above is very high quality although you sacrifice a little taste. It is only for the hard-core. No wimpy, "I want it to taste like a milkshake" users allowed. Nothing else like it anywhere. Get the dextrose separately and mix it in. Use 1/3 cup of the protein and 1/3 cup of the carbs. Get a shaker cup to mix it. Formula Two 1) 5% Super Bovine Serum This formula above is good quality with taste concerns in mind. Use the formula if you have been using straight up whey protein formulas. It is a good start for the beginner to the intermediate bodybuilder. Use 1/3 cup of protein and 1/2 cup of the carbs. Formula Three 1) 50% dextrose The above formula has the carbs added into it already. Thus you need to take 3/4 cup to give you massive amounts of protein and carbs. Create your own formulation now.
