China is shipping enormous amounts of raw steroid powder into the United States - and the American government is powerless to stop it! There are several reasons why US bodybuilders continue to buy Chinese steroids in bulk amount. Assuming you're one of them, or considering it, you won't want to miss this report.
Not long ago, I discussed how Chinese companies are manufacturing and shipping massive amounts of steroids to the United States and other countries. Here's a link to Part 1 of "China: America's Massive Pipeline of Steroids," in case you missed it or want to read it again. Just to quickly recap, China became America's go-to source for roids when Operation Gear Grinder took down eight major Mexican pharmaceutical companies in 2005.
Now, there are hundreds of companies in China that ship raw steroid powder, chemical derivatives, and kits to convert raw powder into finished product to the US. The American government has tried to control the flow of steroids entering the country by busting various dealers across the country, including Operation Raw Deal, where they arrested 124 people in 2007. But without the means of busting the sources that operate legally in China, the Drug Enforcement Agency has little hope of stopping the rush of gear.
With the recap out of the way, I'd like to move on to Part 2 of this story, where I'll discuss why China continues to be such a popular source for steroids as well as tips for how bodybuilders can buy product from this country without getting burned or scammed.
The Best Deal
The internet is full of scam artists who have few qualms about ripping off desperate bodybuilders in search of legit gear. First off, you have the scumbags who sell "legal steroids" - a.k.a. over-priced supplements that do little more than the stuff you can get at GNC. Then there are sources who claim to offer quality steroids, only to take your money and send bad gear or nothing at all. In any case, these con men don't do much repeat business.
Luckily, many Chinese suppliers don't quite fit into these categories. So if you send money and get your address details right, you're going to get what you paid for. This being said, the large number of legitimate sources in China is one reason why this country continues to receive so many steroid orders. Of course, you can never be too sure about any source, so I definitely suggest doing your research before buying anything.
Another big reason why people keep ordering gear from China is because of the prices. Many bodybuilders are getting great deals on their stuff from Chinese websites. This is a huge advantage for somebody who's juicing on a budget. It also serves as a major advantage to dealers, who are turning bigger profits off the inexpensive steroid powder that they convert.
However, I must warn you that some of this gear is of lesser quality than what you might get domestically - especially if you are getting it with a script. So while the price might be cheaper, you'll sometimes end up taking more to get the same effect as a quality domestic product. There's somewhat of a Wal-Mart effect here, whereby you're paying low prices for Chinese products, but it's not always the greatest stuff.
Taking Precautions
There's no guarantee that you'll order steroids from China or any other country and avoid getting ripped off. But there are a few steps that you can take to prevent yourself from getting burned by a con artist.
An immediate red flag is any Chinese company that claims to sell finished products. Their government allows licensed factories and labs to make and package raw materials. However, these places aren't legally allowed to make both raw and finished steroids in the same factory.
Another thing that you'll want to look into is the customer service. Send the prospective company that you're thinking of ordering from an email or give them a call. Remember, these are supposed to be licensed businesses, and not just some guy with a half-assed lab in his basement. Assuming customer service is professional and gets back to you quickly, they're probably a solid company.
Like I alluded to before, you'll also want to do your own research on whomever you're thinking of ordering from. Google the company's name and see what turns up. If you find several or more people complaining about getting ripped off and/or receiving dubious product, you know that this is not a place you want to be dealing with. On the other hand, you may find some glowing reviews that totally endorse the company you're about to order from - just make sure these reviews are legit.
Lastly, remember, buying steroids from China is a felony crime in the USA, so perhaps look into the legal alternatives or talk to a doctor about getting a script is your test levels are low before taking the plunge...
