While I spend most of my time bodybuilding, I occasionally take time out of my routine to become a fair-weather spots fan. Since the NCAA basketball season is almost over, I've been watching the last few games of the tournament, and I can't believe that Butler is in the finals in back-to-back years.
Last year, the Bulldogs made an improbable run out of a mid-Major conference - only to lose to Duke in the National Championship game. So what are the odds of this tiny Indianapolis school showing up in the finals in back-to-back years? Pretty good I suppose since once again the Bulldogs advanced by defeating fellow Cinderella VCU.
Now Butler faces the winner of the Connecticut-Kentucky game; either of these teams will be favored over Butler. Of course, you can't rule out the Bulldogs since they only lost to Duke by four last year.
