Anyone know what types of stacks the guys in Worlds Strongest Man are using? Most of the studying I've done with A.S. were with the types of stacks body builders use, I assume that P.L's use a little different approach! I'm curious, if anyone can shed some light on this I would appreciate it. Any example stacks? IP: Logged |

I know a world's stongest man competitor personally and lets just say it is alot of TEST, alot of FINA, alot of D-BOL and anything else he can get his hands on. This guy trains hard and takes amounts of steroids that would put any bodybuilder to shame. Keep strokin^^^^ IP: Logged |

Like I said it is alot. I can tell though that you are curious and need more information. What is he lifting, hmm, let me see, what are we talking about. No strongman does bench so you i can't answer the question , "how much you benchin", therefore I will simply say that he pulls buses, lifts large spherical stones(360), does yoke walk with over 700#'s, farmers walk with 300 #'s each hand, and other various strongman feats of strength. He is one of the top guys in the world and is very popular. You are dying to know who it is, aren't you? Later strokerjr IP: Logged |

I watch the strongman every time I get a chance. Your damb right I would like to know who it is! As far as the lifting, he's not just liftn' stones and pulln' busses all day long to train for that thing right, It was my understanding that the competitors didn't know exacty what events were going to be held untill they arrived at the contest! Give up some more clues bro, some initials or somthing! Be a sport!!! Heh!Heh!Heh! IP: Logged |

They do know what the events are going to be except for one. They usually find out what the events are about 60 days before the contest. They usually throw a mystery event out there to just fuck with them. You are right, they train in the gym right along with the event training. He never spends more than an hour in the gym a day. He does heavy push press with a steel log that can be fitted with plates on the ends. He goes up to around 300 for a few reps. This is really the only pressing exercise he does. He does do heavy front and powerlifting squats, as well. I can't tell you who he is but he is American. E-mail me and maybe we can talk if you are that curious.
