Anavar is manufactured by Searle Laboratories under the brand name, and by spa labs under the generic name Oxandrolone. Oxandrolone is also being produced in Mexico by Ttokkyo in 2.5mg and 5mg tablets. Anavar is typically prescribed on a 5mg twice daily routine, but athletes almost always exceed that amount. Elite members report great results using 20-50mg per day in divided doses. Anavar is probably the most expensive steroid to use. The average price for a 100 count bottle of 5mg tabs (by Ttokkyo) will cost $200 to $300 on the US black market.

Oxandrolone is mild. Low androgenic 17-alpha alkylated anbolic steroid with very low toxicity. Preferred by thousands of men and women users because it promotes protein anbolism and rarely caused adverse reaction. Oxandrolone is primarlly used to promote strength and muscle hardness. In clinical studies Oxandrolone has enhanced bodyfat reduction significantly in both the abdominal and viceral stores.

This product helps build muscle without causing serious liver damage in the short term (No more than 4 months). It also stimulates the production in growth hormone. Oxandrolone is an oral drug to promote weight gain in people experiencing weight loss including HIV-associated weight loss, and even leukemia.

Research shows that anavar is the one anabolic steroid least likely to cause any side effects. There are very rarely reports of ill effects of any kind using anavar. There is rarely any water retention with this drug, which makes it the drug of choice for persons who need to keep their weight down, either for cutting or like a powerlifter who needs to make weight. Thus you will see a number of bodybuilders using anavar the last two months before competing. Some powerlifters claim that this steroid is No. 1 for gaining strength without water weight.

The use of the low androgenic product is quite popular with women. Very little masculinisation in any form has been seen among woman who have used this drug at a dose of 5-10mg daily. The first signs of virilisaton in females could include persistent hoarseness, deepening of the women's voice, decreased libido, and/or clitoral enlargement. If any of these symptoms should show, the woman should get of the drug immediately.

Anavar does not aromatize. This means of course, that it's one of the very few anabolic steroids that will not convert to estrogen at any dosage. This means it will not cause that soft look to the muscles or will it lead to the development of breast tissue in men.

Ara-Test 2500: Testosterone Enanthate 200mg/ml and Testosterone Propionate 50mg/ml in a 10ml bottle.

Stacking Info: Ara-Test 2500 is a good base steroid in almost any type of cycle with almost any drug just like Sustanon. Athletes interested in rapid size and strength gains find that it stacks extremely well with orals such as Anadrol (Oxymetholone) and D-bol (Methandrostenlone). To minimize water retention, it stacks well with Deca, Primobolan Depot, Equipoise, Winstrol, Finaplix, and Parabolan. A user should have nolvadex on hand, especailly at higher dosages.

Ara-Test 2500 is a relative new comer to the Mexican vet test market made by Lab Aranda. It comes in a 10 ml bottle, with a mixture of 200 mg enanthate and 50 mg propionate per ml. It provides a great alternative to higher priced compounds such as Sustanon 250. It is very similar to Sustanon, but some users have reported that they like it even better. It contains both a fast acting testosterone (propionate), and a slower acting one (enanthate), which makes the two a very good combination. Like Sustanon, injections should be administered twice weekly (in my opinion) to keep the test propionate levels constant. Doses can vary from 250mg per week to 2000mg per week (children don't try this at home) with the average being 500-1000mg per week. Remember, there are 3 types of Ara-Test. Be sure you know which type you're getting.

This is a very good steroid for beginners and expereinced steroid users. This steroid alone can easily add 10-25lbs of mass to a first time user. With the testosterone enanthate in this product, a user can also expect to have some water retention.

Most bodybuilders using Arimidex as an anti-aromitase in the place of Clomid, Nolvadex, etc. although you will still need clomid to "jump start" the testes after a cycle. Bodybuilders are using anywhere from .25mg to 1mg per day or .5 mg to 1mg every other day with great results. It is mainly being used to prevent gynecomastia (bitch tits) and bloating (edema) associated with the use of injectible testosterones and other androgens that can possibly convert to estrogen. It is also said to somewhat reverse existing gynecomastia, but this is still up for debate.

Liquidex is a new product, which is is now available (as of May, 2001). This product comes in a 20ml bottle and contains 4mg/ml and is said to be available domestically for as low as $260 per bottle (as opposed to $540 or more for the same amount in tablet form). This product costs a little less than half of what Arimidex costs. A box of 28 1mg tablets of Arimidex is typically sold for around US$190-300 on the black market. Just like anything else, the cost will depend on where you get it and who you get it from.

How It Works:
Anastrozole (Arimidex) taken orally inhibits the enzyme aromatase. By blocking this enzyme, the production in the body's tissues of estrogen is also blocked. It is thought that some forms of breast cancer are stimulated by estrogen, and by reducing amounts of estrogen in the body the progression of the disease is halted.

Oral anastrozole belongs to a class of antineoplastic drugs called aromatase inhibitors. It is used as a second phase treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It works by decreasing estrogen levels in the body.

Above is a picture of Decanandrolen, which is made in Mexico by Operadora Salvet, formerly known as Denkall Mexicana. This has been said to be much cleaner than Brovel's Norandren 200. Both are 200mg/ml. There is also a 300mg/ml version made in Mexico by Ttokkyo Labs that is getting very popular because of the low injection volume required.

Above is a picture of a real Norma Hellas vial (right) made in Greece and a counterfeit vial on the left, which is believed to be made in Turkey. Both vials are labeled 2ml 100mg/ml.

Notice the counterfeit's cap has a brushed finish compared to the shiny finish on the cap of the real one. Also, the label on the real one has rounded corners unlike the counterfeit, which has square cut corners. The counterfeit is said to be real nandralone decanoate made in Turkey, but could be underdosed.

Stacking Information: Athletes have stacked it with virtually every drug and come out with positive results. It is a good base drug on any cycle. Deca can be used by almost all athletes and give positive results while presenting very few side effects. It also is very commonly used with Winstrol, if not for it's anabolic effects, but to help comfort the stiffened joints caused by Winstrol.

This is an injectable steroid that is a derivative of 19-nortestosterone. It is a favorite to thousands of steroid users. Deca is a low androgenic steroid, with high anabolic properties. It is excellent for developing size and strength. It has very little liver toxicity or disturb the body’s own hormone functions excessively. This drug is commonly used for both cutting and bulking.

Deca can aromatize to progesterone (another female hormone that can cause gynecomastia). This is usually not a problem when the dosage is no higher than 400mg per week. It should also be noted that clomid, arimidex, proviron, nolvadex, and other "anti-estrogens" will not combat progesterone induced gyno. But, Stanazolol (Winstrol) has been rumored to work as an anti-progesterone, thus another reason why Deca and Winstrol are a popular combination. The new "abortion pill" RU-486, which basically works by blocking progesterone, is also starting to be used to combat progesterone induced gyno.

Deca has been known to comfort sore joints. Athletes report that sore shoulders, knees, and/or elbows are without pain on the Deca cycle. Many steroid users will not use Winstrol without stacking it with Deca to alleviate the stiff joints caused by Winstrol. This may be substantiated by proving it reduces the amount of cortisol getting into muscle tissue during the cycle. Deca also dramatically improves nitrogen retention and recuperation time between workouts. Nandrolone has shown up positive on more steroid tests than any other steroid. This is due to the fact that so many athletes use it, and that it stays in the system at a detectable level for up to 18 months. The drug itself is effective for about two weeks.

Until just a few months ago, 200mg/ml was the highest strength Deca available. Ttokkyo has started producing a 300mg/ml version of Nandrolone Decanoate (Nandrolona 300) and just like most of their other products, it seems to be getting very good reviews.

Stacking info: Commonly used in bulking cycles with an injectable testosterone such as Sustanon 250, Deca-Durabolin, Primobolan Depot, Winstrol, Equipoise, or in combination with two or more of the injectables mentioned earlier. Definately not for cutting cycles.

This steroid is a derivative of testosterone. The oral form was originally developed back in 1956 by Dr. John Ziegler and Ciba labs. This was the first steroid used by American athletes and was the only steroid anyone in this country talked about until the late 1970’s. It is by far the most popular steroid used by athletes. The brand name Dianabol by Ciba was discontinued about five years ago because the FDA decided the only people using this drug were athletes. The generic name, methandrostenolone, is no longer made by any American labs, the market or counterfeit item is the most popular black market drug there ever was.

This drug itself is a strong anabolic and androgenic product. It most often produced dramatic gains in size and strength. Dianabol was also shown to increase endurance and glycogen retention. The down side is that this drug is responsible for a number of side effects. It is an alpha alkylated 17 compound, which is quite toxic to the liver. Dianabol also aromatizes a great deal, even on fairly low dosages. Using Nolvadex in a stack with the Dianabol will minimize these aromatizing effects. Water retention and high blood pressure are also very common. Due to the drugs conversion to DHT it also causes extreme acne in some cases. Thus many of your heavy D-Bol users are big, strong, bloated with water, breaking out, and have a stressed liver. Obviously this is not a steroid one would use to cut up. It is best used to gain size and strength on a bulking cycle. This drug would not be a poor choice if not used excessively or for long durations of time. Average dosages for Dianabol have been in the range of 15mg to 50mg a day oral or around 100mg a week by injection (Reforvit-B and Denkall's D-Bol both come in liquid form and can be injected, but it is not recommended). It is often used during the first 4-6 weeks of a bulking cycle to jump start the cycle.

NOTE: Recently methandrostenolone has been sold in powder form. Most of this has been legitimate so far, but because it's strictly a black market item, one should be careful when purchasing it. The powder can be mixed in polypropyline glycol to make a solution (i.e. 1000 mg powder in 100 ml polypropyline glycol = 10mg/ml solution) or it can be put into capsules.

Aliases: Maxigan, Ultragan, Ganabol (Commonly referred to as "EQ" on the discussion boards.)

Stacking Info: For mass, Equipoise stacks exceptionally well with Anadrol(oxymetholone), Dianabol(methandrostenlone), or an injectable testosterone like Sustanon 250.

Equipoise is also highly effective for contest preparation since it aromitizes at a low rate. For contest prep, muslce hardness and density can be greatly improved when Equipoise is combined with Parabolan (trenbolone hexahydrobencylcarbonate), Finaplix (trenbolone acetate), Halotestin (fluoxymesterone), or Winstrol (stanozolol).

Equipoise, or boldenone undecylenate is a favorite veterinary steroid of many athletes. Its effects are strongly anabolic, and only moderately androgenic. By itself, Equipoise will provide a steady and consistent gain in mass and strength. However, best results are achieved when Equipoise is used in conjunction with other steroids. Average dosages of Equipoise are 200-400 mg per week. Injections are usually taken twice per week (i.e. Monday/Thursday).

Equipoise is available in a 25, 50, 100, and even a 200 mg/ml version. Ultragan, the 100mg/ml version or Boldenon 200 by Ttokkyo is generally preferred, as frequent/multiple injections may become a problem. Remember, if high volume injections are made too frequently to the same injection site, an oil abscess may form. Another popular version is Ganabol in the 50 mg/ml form. It is mostly seen in 50 ml vials, but is also available in 10, 100, and 250 ml versions. Ganabol comes in a brown glass vial with a green label. 50 mg/ml versions will have a large "50" on the label. A new 200 mg/ml product, Boldenon 200 by Ttokkyo was recently introduced to the market and the initial reviews have been great.

Stacking Info: Finaplix can be stacked with a number of steroids. It is most commonly found in cycles with cutting drugs such as winstrol, T3 and clenbuterol as well as in bulking stacks with testosterone and dianabol.

Finaplix comes in the form of a cattle implant pellet, which contains trenbolone acetate, potent androgen. Trenbolone is also the active ingredient in Parabolan, but Parabolan contains a different ester. The implant pellets can be ground up and mixed with a water/DMSO mix and applied to the skin topically. This transdermal mix is effective, but can cause you to have a very bad odor. The most popular method seems to be to mix own solution for injection, although it is not completely sterile, which could cause an infection if done incorrectly. Finaplix will give great strength and mass gains without water retention.

It should also be noted that this is not a beginners steroid. Finaplix, compared to other injectibles is more toxic to the kidneys. Since this is a strong androgen, side effects such as acne and aggression are also possible. Due to the toxicity of this drug, most bodybuilders will limit their finaplix usage to 4-6 weeks, though they may continue using the less toxic steroids in their cycles for up to 12 weeks. Fina is not a controlled substance.

Stacking info: Primobolan can be used in conjunction with virtually any combination of steroids and, because it does not effect natural testosterone production, it can even be used after a cycle of stronger drugs to help preserve gains that were made. Some users will "bridge" with Primobolan, meaning instead of going completely off between cycles, they will take 100-200mg of Primo per week to keep gains and retain hardness. This low of a dose is said not to suppress testicular function, although some disagree.

Primobolan Depot is a regestered trade make of Schering A/G avaiable in 50 mg/ml from Mexico and 100 mg/ml from Europe. Primo is said to be the cleanest and gentlest anabolic steroid (although some will say it's not as safe as Anavar, but close), it will not aromatize when dose is kept moderate, and it's virtually non-toxic. Primo may be taken by both Men and Women, although some say that it can convert to DHT which will cause hair loss (especially in women). Common dosages for men are 100-300 mg/week, Women should use roughly half that dosage. Primo is one of the only steroids that works well on a low calorie diet. Effective for bulking, but tends to harden and add muscle tone more than build mass. Primo is great when stacked with other steroids, as some say it tends to lessen water retention and harshness when stacked with more heavy duty testosterone injectables, like Omnadren/Sustanon 250, Test Cypionate, etc. Primo is an analog immune-stimulating steroid sometimes used by Aids patients and others with depressed immune systems, used to build up the immune system and prevent wasting. For some reason, Primobolan Depot is not approved the FDA in the United States.

Real Primobolan Depot will be suspended in a very thick oil, making it somewhat difficult to draw with even a 21ga needle. This is a good way (but not foolproof) to determine if your primo is real. Some amps have been circulating recently (April 2001) that are thought to be fakes, despite the fact that the oil is still very thick. These amps are clear with green print, and even though the print says 1 ml, they actually contain close to 1.5 ml. As of now, these amps have not been tested, so it would be wise to stay away from these for the time being.

Athletes interested in rapid size and strength gains, with little regard for definition and muscle separation, find that Sustanon stacks extremely well with orals such as Anadrol (Oxymetholone) and Dianabol (Methandrostenlone). To minimize water retention, Sustanon also stacks well with Deca, Primobolan Depot, Equipoise, Winstrol, Finaplix, and Parabolan.

Sustanon 250 is an oil-based injectable containing four different testosterone compounds: testosterone propionate, 30 mg; testosterone phenylpropionate, 60 mg; testosterone isocaproate, 60mg; and testosterone decanoate, 100 mg. The mixture of the testosterones are time-released to provide an immediate effect while still remaining active in the body for up to a month. As with other testosterones, Sustanon is an androgenic steroid with a pronounced anabolic effect. Therefore, athletes commonly use Sustanon to put on mass and size while increasing strength. However, unlike other testosterone compounds such as cypionate and enanthate, the use of Sustanon leads to less water retention and estrogenic side effects. This characteristic is extremely beneficial to bodybuilders who suffer from gynecomastia yet still seek the powerful anabolic effect of an injectable testosterone. The decreased water retention also makes Sustanon a desirable steroid for bodybuilders and athletes interested in cutting up or building a solid foundation of quality mass. Dosages of Sustanon range from 250 mg every other week, up to 2000 mg or more per week. These dosages seem to be the extremes. A more common dosage would range from 500 mg to 1000 mg per week. Although Sustanon remains active for up to a month, injections should be taken at least once a week to keep testosterone levels stable.

A steroid novice can expect to gain about 15-20 pounds within a couple of months by using only 250 mg of Sustanon a week, and of course a very high calorie bodybuilding diet. More advanced athletes will obviously need higher dosages to obtain the desired effect. Sustanon is a fairly safe steroid, but in high dosages, some athletes may experience side effects due to an elevated estrogen level. With dosages exceeding 250 mg a week, it is probably wise to use an antiestrogen such as Clomid (Clomiphene Citrate), Nolvadex (Tamoxifen Citrate) or Proviron (Mesterolone). The use of Sustanon will suppress natural testosterone production, so the use of HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) or Clomid (Clomiphene Citrate) may be wise to use at the end of a cycle.

If you want to be sure you are not getting a counterfeit, you may want to pay a little more for the Sostanon 250 Redijects. They come in a bubble pack with a foil backing that would not be cost-effective for someone to fake.

Cyctahoh by Infar, Karachi by Infar, Nile by Organon, Sostanon 250 (Redi-Jects) by Organon, Omnadren by Jelfa, and Polysteron 250 by Organon are some of the different brands of Sustanon, all come in 1ml amps (except the Sostanon Redi-Jects) and all contain the same blend of testosterone esters. The Testonon 250 by Ttokkyo is unusual in that it comes in a 5ml bottle. The product seems to be working well, but injections are said to sting very badly, either due to the propionate ester or an unusually high level of benzyl alcohol (which is found in almost all oil based injectibles).

Stacking Info: Testosterone Enanthate, like most other testosterones is a good base steroid in almost any bulking cycle with almost any other drug. Again, those interested in rapid size and strength gains, with little regard for definition and muscle separation, find that Testosterone Enanthate works very well. It does tend to cause more water retention than Sustanon, which will translate into more overall size/weight gain. Obviously, one would not want to use this testosterone for cutting.

Side Effects: Testosterone Enanthate is a relatively long acting testosterone ester, meaning it will be active in the body for up to 2 weeks. Since this is not a blend of different long and short acting esters, you may seriously consider tapering the dosage at the end of the cycle. Also be sure to have Nolvadex and/or Clomid readily available should you start to notice signs of gyno. Clomid should also be used at the end of the cycle (up to 3 weeks after the last injection) to stimulate the testes to start natural testosterone production again.

Brand Selection: There are several brands of testosterone enanthate available. Most commonly, you will see Testosterona 200 by Brovel (aka T-200) or Testosterone Depot by Tornel. Both of these are sold as 200mg/ml in 10ml bottles. Both of these are Mexican veterinary products and have been rumored to be underdosed (not containing a full 200mg per ml) and to contain much more bacteria than a human grade testosterone enanthate (which can cause an infection). They are also known to be underfilled. In my experience, I have never actually seen one of these bottles that actually contains the full 10ml. Most bottles contain between 9.0 and 9.5 ml. These products are fairly inexpensive, ranging anywhere from $45 to $100 per bottle on the U.S. black market. They remain extremely popular on the black market and many users swear by them.

Primoteston Depot by Schering is a human grade testosterone enanthate that is also 200mg/ml, but comes in a 1ml amp. This product is always said to be of the highest quality and dosed correctly (as are all of Scherings products). They can be considerably more expensive than Mexican Vet products. The price on primoteston usually ranges from $10 to $20 per amp on the U.S. black market which would make 10ml cost $100 to $200 compared to a 10ml bottle of the vet products mentioned above for $45 to $100. The price is usually about double, so many users opt for the cheaper ones (Testosterona 200 or Testosterone Depot).

Aliases: Stanozolic, Winstrol-V, Anabolic ST, Stanol-V (Commonly referred to as "Winny" on the discussion boards.)

Stacking Info: Winstrol is commonly used in cutting cycles with Primobolan, Deca, Equipoise, or even with a testosterone. But, it can be stacked with almost anything. Many users prefer to stack Winstrol with Deca to help control joint discomfort, which is a common side effect of Winstrol.

Winstrol is a common name for the drug stanazolol. Stanazolol is a 17-aa steroid, designed for oral administration but also available in injectable form. Winstrol is classified as an anabolic, exhibiting low androgenic side effects. Its' anabolic properties however are not dramatic and is often used in combination with other drugs, most commonly during cutting cycles when water and fat retention are a concern. Any of the injectible water based winstrol products can be administered orally.

Common dosage is 25mg all the way up to 100mg per day, although most use between 25mg and 50mg. When taken orally, most users will try to spread the dose out, taking a smaller amount 2-3 times throughout the day. If injected, it would be most effective injected daily (to keep a steady supply in the blood stream. Although most users inject every other day because of the inconvenience of daily injections.

In the U.S., the Zambon brand name from Spain was until recently, the most popular. It is supplied in 2mg tabs and 50mg water-based injectable ampules. Winstrol can be very expensive to use. 30ml of injectable Winstrol-V (U.S. Veterinary product) is usually more cost effective but legitimate bottles are now rarely seen due to strict gov't control. There are many forms of counterfeit Winstrol, so one should be careful when purchasing this product. The Zambon tabs are pink and come 20 to a strip. The Zambon injectable ampules and American Winstrol-V have been duplicated with good accuracy. One should make sure the water and steroid separate when the vial is left out on a table for some time, unless you are using a micronized version such as Anabolic ST or some of the other new products.

Anabolic ST (which is very good, I might add. I have personally seen it work very well.), Stanol-V by Ttokkyo, and Stanozolic by Ilium/Ausvet are some Mexican products that are gaining popularity, especially with the members of Elite Fitness. All of these come in 20 ml bottles. The Anabolic ST and Stanazolic by Ilium/Ausvet are 50mg/ml and the Stanol-V by Ttokkyo is 100mg/ml. The Stanol-V also comes as 10mg tablets which come in a 100 count and a 500 count bottle. In my opinion, the Mexican Stanozolol products are going to be less likely counterfeited.

NOTE: Recently Stanozolol has been sold in powder form. Most of this has been legitimate so far, but because it's strictly a black market item, one should be careful when purchasing it. Most users have reported using 50mg per day (orally) with very good results. The powder can be mixed in water to make a solution (i.e. 1000 mg powder in 100 ml water = 10mg/ml) or put into capsules. Recently (May, 2000) it was reported to contain 90% Stanozolol and the remaining 10% is actually a compound that prevents it from sticking together. So, if you purchase 1 gram (1000mg), you are really only getting 900mg.
